Ultimate Supreme Soldier King

Chapter 1541 1536: Wolf God

Chapter 1541 1536: Wolf God

When Su Chen returned to the Werewolf experimental Base, he didn't see any trace of Liang Bing and the others; instead, he found a video in the surveillance room. The video showed footage of Liang Bing and the others being taken away. Besides that, Su Chen also received a segment of dialogue.

"I'm taking them away first. If you want to buy them back, I hope to see you at Moyland Castle on the night of the full moon. Of course, you can choose not to come. But if you don't… hehehe…"

The video cut off abruptly at that point.

This made Su Chen extremely annoyed. He had originally thought there was no one left in this Werewolf experimental Base.

But he'd only been gone for a little while, and Liang Bing and the others had already been taken away.

And who exactly was that guy wearing the Werewolf mask?

And what was that "Moyland Castle" place supposed to be?

Su Chen fell into a state of restless agitation.

But at this point there was no way he could just quit halfway. He could only follow the route map Liang Bing had found earlier and get out of this damned place first.

A day later, Su Chen finally walked out of the Devil's Eye. The moment his phone signal came back, Su Chen dialed Lang Sha's number without hesitation and immediately tore into her with a barrage of questions.

He finally asked in frustration what the hell this place actually was.

Lang Sha wasn't angered by Su Chen's questioning. She just answered with a squinting smile, "The Devil's Eye."

It was only three words, but Su Chen instantly understood where he was.

The Devil's Eye was located in the only desert in Europe. Su Chen had only heard of it by name; this was the first time he had actually come to the Devil's Eye in person.

He just hadn't expected the magnetic field inside the Devil's Eye to be so bizarre it could even block satellite phone signals.

Next Su Chen asked, "What is Moyland Castle?"

When Su Chen brought up this question, Lang Sha's tone finally turned serious. "You've met them?"

"No shit." Su Chen said irritably, but he quickly realized that Lang Sha must have known about their existence for a long time. She had probably even arranged for Yan to send him here on purpose.

"Lang Sha, don't you think it's about time you gave me an explanation?" Su Chen's voice turned slightly cold.

Lang Sha froze for a moment, then remembered what kind of man she was dealing with. She had used him like this and he'd noticed.

The consequences of that were not something just anyone could bear.

"Sorry, Death God, I did keep this from you. But this matter is very important to me. I hope you can tell me everything you saw. I'll owe you a favor for this one, and I'll waive your fee this time…" Lang Sha didn't beat around the bush and directly stated her terms.

"Mm…" Su Chen calmed himself a little and replied in a lukewarm tone.

Although Lang Sha had hidden some things from him, none of it was fatal. Besides, he had seen Liang Bing this time, even if things had gone wrong afterward.

And the unforeseen events were partly on him too; he couldn't pin all the blame on Lang Sha and the others.

"Did you see an enormous Werewolf in their experiments?" Lang Sha asked her first question.

"Let me think…" Su Chen recalled.

If it was an enormous Werewolf, the only one he had seen was Sun Feng. But clearly that wasn't who Lang Sha was talking about.

Then, all of a sudden, Su Chen noticed a detail: in the video left by the guy wearing the Werewolf mask, he seemed to have taken not only Liang Bing and the others, but also had something carried away in a metal coffin-like container.

It was massive. Even if a Werewolf bigger than Sun Feng lay inside, there probably wouldn't be any problem.

Su Chen told Lang Sha his guess, and sure enough, a hint of excitement crept into her voice.

"Yes, that should be him!" Lang Sha said, her words filled with excitement.

"What is it?" Su Chen couldn't help but feel a bit curious as well.

Lang Sha took a deep breath and smiled at Su Chen. "Death God, my intel is very expensive."

"Cut the crap." Su Chen snapped, displeased.

Lang Sha stopped teasing him. Even over the secure satellite phone, her voice dropped to almost a whisper.

But Su Chen still heard what she said clearly.

"Wolf God!"

That's right, after triple-checking, Su Chen still arrived at only one conclusion: what Lang Sha had told him were precisely the two words "Wolf God."

But Su Chen didn't immediately think of "deities." He assumed it was some kind of codename.

"What the hell is 'Wolf God'? What's inside that thing? Can you be a bit clearer?"

Lang Sha was almost angered to death by his wording. She said crossly, "What's inside is the 'Wolf God,' the deity of the Werewolf clan."

Now Su Chen finally understood: what was inside that thing was the Wolf God…

Wait a minute!

Inside was a deity?

This time Su Chen was genuinely shocked by the intel. A deity—an existence that belonged in vague, illusory legends—how was that possible?

Su Chen found it hard to believe. Even though he now possessed strength that would terrify ordinary people, he still didn't buy into so-called gods and monsters.

The idea of Ghost God and such—how could someone raised under the red flag accept that?

Moreover, as a qualified Special Soldier, he was a staunch atheist… well, at least for now.

As the old saying goes, man can conquer heaven.

"Death God, I'm not joking with you. According to my sources, there's a high probability that a 'deity's' physical body exists there. Even if it isn't a real god, it's very likely the first being to grow so powerful it defies imagination." Lang Sha told Su Chen in a rare, resolute tone.

"Got it." Su Chen didn't even know himself whether he was just brushing her off. He vaguely replied with a "got it," then asked her about Moyland Castle.

Lang Sha smiled at Su Chen. "Moyland Castle is the legendary gathering place of Werewolves. It's in Bedfort, in the German region…"

For Lang Sha, who possessed massive amounts of intel, this kind of information was hardly worth mentioning. Besides, she'd already been paying attention to information related to Werewolves beforehand.

The intel Su Chen was asking for was child's play to her.

"Mm, I know. You owe me a favor this time." With that, Su Chen didn't give Lang Sha a chance to respond and directly hung up the phone.

Now that he knew where he was, nothing could stump Su Chen. After all, he was one of the finest Special Soldiers on the entire planet!

It was just that he'd need some time to get out of this stretch of Gobi and head for the German region. Besides, this trip to Europe wasn't just about rescuing Liang Bing and the others—Su Chen had other business to take care of as well…
