Chapter 117

Chapter 117

"Ron, Sirius said this owl is for you as compensation for losing your mouse." Harry had a bright smile on his face.

"Give it to me?" Ron's eyes widened. The little owl was still screaming excitedly.

It turns out that this owl was a gift from Sirius Black, and we get another undetailed plot.

Then Harry took out the envelope with a little excitement. There was a piece of parchment inside, which read: I, Sirius Black, Harry's godfather, agree that he can go to Hogsmeade at the weekend.

"Great!" Harry suddenly felt as if he had drunk a whole glass of butterbeer, and his whole body and mind were filled with warmth and happiness. "Just show it to Dumbledore."

"In that case, the only thing left is..." Ron didn't finish his words and looked at Su Xingchen.

Harry quickly calmed down, secretly regretting that he had gotten carried away and forgotten that he was not the only one who could not go to Hogsmeade.

"Why are you all looking at me?" Su Xingchen blinked. "It's okay. I didn't like going anyway. It's better this way. Harry doesn't have to hide and can play in Hogsmeade openly."

She had known it for a long time, so she was not as sad as some people imagined.

Facing that peaceful smiling face, Harry felt a rare sense of guilt, as if he had abandoned his companion.

The atmosphere that had been heated up by Sirius' letter cooled down. Su Xingchen saw his little friend pretending to be nonchalant and chatting about other topics, and secretly said "sin" in his heart. She had made the atmosphere awkward.

Harry read and reread Sirius's letter, still clutching it tightly in his hand as the train pulled into King's Cross Station.

"I'll call about the World Cup!" Ron shouted after them.

Harry and Su Xingchen returned to Privet Drive as usual. They drove out of the road and began to enter the suburbs.

Su Xingchen knocked on the panel behind the driver's seat, and the black panel slowly rose, isolating the space between the front and back rows.

Harry was about to ask why the partition was raised when someone grabbed his collar and pulled him over. His face turned red.

When their eyes met, the distance was not particularly close, but it was definitely not a safe social distance.

"Do you have anything to say? Or, do you have something to ask me?" Su Zhamao Xingchen narrowed her eyes. This was the third time this kid looked at her with that slightly strange look after reading Sirius' letter on the train.

Although it was subtle, she still noticed it. This inexplicable feeling made her feel very irritated for no reason.

Harry's bewilderment subsided and his expression returned to normal.

He stared at the girl before him. After learning that the Firebolt had been sent by Sirius, he doubted his previous assumptions even more. That was why she refused to reveal the name, because at the time, he had believed Sirius to be an enemy. In other words, since he knew who had sent the Firebolt but hadn't stopped it, it proved that Sirius had long known that Sirius had no ill intentions.

"Did you already know that Peter Pettigrew was the murderer, Star?"

Su Xingchen was stunned and stared at Harry without blinking.

His eyes were calm, but if you looked closely, you could see the deep, heavy heartbreak hidden in the depths of his emerald green pupils.

Su Xingchen's heart couldn't help but shudder.

Is this something that can be admitted? Absolutely not!

Adhering to the principle of striking first gaining the advantage and striking last suffering first, and not being unreasonable, Su Xingchen used his empty left hand to quickly give Harry a powerful blow.

While he was still confused, I pulled him closer and asked, "Do you doubt me?"

"No... I just..." Harry was still a little unresponsive. Why was he beaten?

Upon hearing this, Su Xingchen loosened his collar, folded his hands neatly on his knees, and stared straight at the blank black panel in front of him.

"Didn't I say I could predict things?"

"Um...yes, you did."

"That was a lie. I can't actually predict the future." She turned her head and stared at Harry's bewildered face. "I just see things sometimes."

Su Xingchen knew very well that it took a hundred lies to maintain one lie. Now that the child was older, it was harder to deceive him, and she was not sure that she could make up for it in the future. After all, the protagonist's identity and status were there.

But it doesn’t matter, she can adapt it, since she has actually seen it anyway.

As for how he saw it? That was another matter. He would never let anyone know.

"It's not that I can see whatever I want to see, but it can only let me know when it wants me to know something." So don't ask her questions in the future.

"I didn't know the truth about your parents' death from the beginning." The mouse who saw Ron on the train just remembered, "It has to...it has to..."

"Hit a critical point?"

Su Xingchen was still racking her brains to think of an excuse, but Harry had already found one for her.

So she nodded hurriedly.

What a good boy.

"You remember what Dumbledore said? He believed you, but he couldn't convince anyone else." She pursed her lips. "If I told you this when I knew the truth, would you believe it?"

Harry thought that not only would he not believe it, he would also think that the person was crazy or under a Confusion Charm. Even after Sirius escaped from Azkaban, he thought that anyone would be more inclined to believe the truth told by the Hogwarts professors and the Minister of Magic than a thirteen-year-old child.

Seeing that Harry was slowly being convinced, Su Xingchen stopped looking at him and turned his head back to continue staring at the black panel with nothing on it.

"So, this is actually a very painful thing." Not knowing what she was thinking about, she lowered her eyes and her mind began to wander.

Harry could understand this feeling. Just like last year, he was the only one who could hear the basilisk's voice and he had no way to prove that what he said was true. Fortunately, his friends believed him.

For someone like Xingchen, not only can she not tell others that she can foresee things, but even if she did, no one would believe her.

So she is actually in a difficult situation, right?

Harry remembered how she had insisted there was no ominous sign, how she had never warned him to stay away from Sirius like Hermione and Ron had, and how she had only said that he must remain calm when he saw him.

In fact, she has tried her best, so she can't say those words out loud.

It's just that I didn't understand it.

Therefore, everyone previously thought that Xingchen's occasional indifference to him was simply because he already knew the outcome.

Thinking of this, Harry's erection began to soften, and his eyes gradually softened. The person in front of him was still in a daze, and when he thought of her "barbaric behavior" just now, he couldn't help but chuckle.

Su Xingchen was awakened by the laughter, and his eyes gradually became clear.

She looked at Harry, and there was no other emotion in his emerald green eyes except for a smile. It seemed that he had been successfully fooled by her.
