Song Ya coughed lightly, trying to get Lin Shen and Shen Yun, who were sitting across from her, to tone it down a bit.

Even though they had booked the entire spacious terrace, they were still in a public place!

’Are you really going to flirt right in front of me? Have you considered my feelings at all!?’

"Yun, do you agree with Lin Shen’s proposal?"

"Me?"

Seeing that Song Ya had thrown the question to her, Shen Yun blinked her alluring eyes and distanced herself from Lin Shen slightly.

After all, it wasn’t exactly proper to be pressed up against him the whole time.

"I think it’s a great idea. Just let him invest a million in you."

"Song, you’re Shen’s best friend, so I trust you completely. Think of this million as an investment to retool your production line."

"If the product quality is up to par later on, I’ll increase my investment."

Song Ya was currently looking to restructure her business, as ordinary toys could no longer meet market demand.

’Maybe pet toys are a good breakthrough point!’

Song Ya thanked Lin Shen sincerely. She hadn’t expected to meet her best friend’s young boyfriend only to end up securing a new investment.

Because of Lin Shen’s little movements under the table, Shen Yun couldn’t hold it in any longer and got up to head to the restroom.

Seeing this, Song Ya couldn’t help but glance sideways at Lin Shen, who was wiping his hands with a wet wipe, and asked out of curiosity.

"I heard from Yun that you have a lot of women?"

"Not too many. A few, I guess."

Song Ya actually found Lin Shen’s frankness quite admirable.

She quickly looked around and confirmed that the nearest waiter was at the entrance, completely out of earshot of their conversation on the terrace, before breathing a sigh of relief.

Song Ya knew Lin Shen was honest, but she hadn’t expected him to be *this* honest!

’Is that the kind of relationship you can just say out loud?’

Still, it was to be expected.

A handsome, virile young man in his twenties and a sexy, gorgeous mature woman in her forties.

You could figure out their relationship with your eyes closed.

But she never thought Lin Shen would be so open about it.

"You’re so handsome, you must not be short on pretty young girls. Why would you still go for Yun?"

"Is she not worthy?"

"You misunderstood! That’s not what I meant. In fact, I think Yun is the one who got the better end of the deal by being with you."

"If you say that about Shen, she’ll be very hurt if she hears it."

"I didn’t mean to speak ill of her!"

Song Ya quickly explained.

"You’re not short on money or women. I just find it incredible that you’re with Yun."

"After all, she’s like me, we’re getting older. We’re not as attractive to you guys as those young girls."

"That’s not necessarily true."

Lin Shen took a light sip of tea, a wicked smile on his face.

"After spending a lot of time with young girls, mature women have a unique charm. A change of pace keeps things from getting boring, doesn’t it?"

"My, what a scumbag thing to say."

Song Ya feigned annoyance before covering her mouth to hide a giggle, then her tone shifted as she asked softly.

"So, what do you think of me?"

Lin Shen’s expression froze for a moment. But seeing the alluring look in Song Ya’s roving eyes, he instantly understood. He cleared his throat twice, as a show of respect.

"You’re very nice. You look like you’re in your early thirties."

"I’m only three years younger than Yun, you know."

Song Ya laughed, her body swaying, her whisper laced with a hint of anticipation.

"So... would you like to have me and Yun together?"

’Together?’

Lin Shen’s eyelid twitched.

Meanwhile, Song Ya reached across the table to lightly touch his fingers, her words dripping with seduction.

"Did you know? Yun has been praising your... abilities in that department to me. I can’t count how many times she’s shown off. It’s driving me crazy with desire."

"If you’re interested, I’d be happy to persuade Yun, and next time..."

"What are you two talking about?"

Just as Song Ya was about to finish, Shen Yun returned with a wide smile on her face.

"What’s so amusing? Tell me all about it."

"Of course, we were just talking about Lin Shen agreeing to invest in my company."

"No wonder it feels like you know a little something about every industry. You’re so accomplished for your age!"

Lin Shen smiled humbly, then patted the back of Shen Yun’s hand.

"Shen, there was something else I wanted to discuss with you today."

"Is it about mass-producing the pet food?"

Shen Yun gave him a charming smile, which surprised Lin Shen slightly.
